Madison Park Days & Sidewalk Sale

The Children's Picnic & Parade starts at 12:00 noon on the Saturday following the 4th of July in front of Wells Fargo Bank. The picnic will begin after the parade in the park. There are no forms required to participate in the children's parade. We encourage children in wagons, on bikes or just walking. Dress up or come as you are and enjoy a fun time in the park.

Enjoy a special weekend sidewalk sale by the merchants in the business district while enjoying our special part of the city. This event is sponsored by The Madison Park Business Association.

Jazz in the Park

This event offers jazz every Thursday evening in August each summer. Blankets, picnics and comfortable park atmosphere make this event a pleasant diversion from busy daily life and is co-sponsored by The Madison Park Community Council and The Madison Park Business Association.

Halloween Photos and Trick or Treating

Children fill the sidewalks of Madison Park in costume going door to door for a treat and a smile through-out the business district in this annual event. Photos are taken of the princesses and ghosts in the small triangle park outside of Bing's by the hundreds. This event occurs on Halloween at approximately 3pm, unless Halloween falls on a weekend, then it is typically the Friday prior. This event is co-sponsored by The Madison Park Business Association and all participating businesses.

Christmas Ship & Bonfire

This community event includes a bonfire, hot cocoa, hot coffee and local bakery favorites. The event occurs each December as the Argosy ship cruises Lake Washington full of lights and carolers. The community gathers around a huge beach bonfire and enjoys the music. This event date and time is publicized each year and often offers the music of The Salvation Army Band. This event is co-sponsored by The Madison Park Community Council and The Madison Park Business Association.
